Our very own George Wade is embarking on quite the remarkable 76 mile Charity Run on the 1st of October from Stoke on Trent to Worcester and has already raised over £10,000 for Pendragon Community Trust and Dougie Mac. George is our Director of Strategic Relationships here at Bidpath and has been with the team since 2017 where he is responsible for building strong business relationships with our clients, closely working together with them to achieve their long-term goals and objectives. He is following the footsteps (quite literally) of his great grandfather from a wager exactly 90 years ago to the day, but this time it is for charity.
Dougie Mac provides all hospice services free of charge to over 3,500 local people with life-limiting illnesses in Stoke-on-Trent, North Staffordshire and the surrounding villages; also offering supportive care for their families and carers.
The Pendragon Community Trust is a Multi-Sensory Centre, in Northallerton, for adults and children with additional needs and their families (also setup by George’s family-in-law). We are very proud of George and wish him the best of luck on this impressive feat!
